Scents 2 sound // Audiovisual workshop
How does a smell look? Feel? Act? Sound? What about two smells, and the contrast between them?
This animation is the visualization of two different smells. After smelling the scents blindfolded we made a descriptive list for each smell. Both scents were assigned personality traits of their own. Each off them reminded us of our grandmothers, but in very distinct ways, so we went for an overall feel of nostalgia.
The assignment was a collaboration with students from Sonic College of sound design.
